Who we are

Om Threads Boutique is a small shop based in Lake Villa, Illinois, USA. These terms apply to orders placed on omthreadsboutique.vercel.app. Orders placed through our Etsy shop are covered by Etsy's terms and our Etsy shop policies.

Our pieces

We describe and photograph every piece as accurately as we can, in natural light. Textiles can vary a little in color, weave and size from one piece to the next, and from what you see on your screen. Stock is limited: many pieces come in just one or two of each.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. If you pay from outside the US, the payment page may show the amount in your own currency, converted by our payment provider, and your bank may charge its own fees. Sales tax is added at checkout where we're required to collect it.

You can pay with the methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe and, where offered, PayPal, Exodus or your bank's Zelle. Card and account details are entered with those providers, not on our site, and we never see or store them.

Your order

Your order is confirmed once your payment goes through and you see your order number (it starts with OT-). If you choose Zelle, we hold your order for the time shown at checkout; if the payment hasn't arrived by then, the order is cancelled and nothing is owed.

If a piece sells out at the same moment you order it (for example, on our Etsy shop), we'll tell you and refund you in full. We may also cancel and refund an order if a price or description was clearly wrong.

Shipping, customs and duties

Delivery times and costs are in our Shipping policy. For orders outside the US, you are the importer: any import duties, taxes or customs fees are yours to pay, and customs may ask you for ID before releasing the parcel.

Returns and refunds

You can return unworn items from orders shipped within the US within 30 days of delivery. Orders shipped outside the US are final sale: no returns or exchanges, except as below if something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described. The details are in our Returns & exchanges policy.

If something goes wrong

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll put it right with a replacement, an exchange or a full refund. Apart from that, our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow such a limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.
